In life, you have to know what is consistent with the word of God and what is not consistent with the word? That is why I encourage people to study the word for themselves. You have to study the word of God for yourself!

I want you to find out what the word says about you because when you get to know, you will be so excited.

Now I like to ask people: What did Jesus came to do? Some answer “he came to save us from our sins”.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10).

Everyone born into the world is born with the natural human life. Man, however, is a spirit being and needs the supernatural life to function to his full potentials. That’s the reason Jesus came to give us another kind of life – the God-kind of life. Anyone that has received Jesus as Lord has this life (1 John 5:11).

O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph (Psalm 47:1).

Our opening verse is talking about the shout of victory. Some people shout out of fear, but in Christianity we shout in victory. We shout unto the Lord with the voice of triumph. It’s like the shout the children of Israel gave in conquering Jericho. As they journeyed to the Promised Land, they got to Jericho, but the city was shut with thick and imposing walls (Joshua 6:1).

Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103:5).

Joshua 13:1 tells us something interesting about the man Joshua. It says, “Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.”

HAVE THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF LIFE

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed (1 Corinthians 15:51).

Some people think death is from God; they think God created life and created death. But it’s not true. When they read such things as, “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things” (Isaiah 45:7), they get carried away by the words of the prophet, who spoke symbolically. When you want to understand the truth, you go over to

THE CHRISTIAN CAN’T BE POISONED

…and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17-18).

Following the words of Jesus in the verses above, the Christian can’t be poisoned. It makes no difference how the poison is administered. Why is this so? The Bible tells us in Leviticus 17:11, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood….” When people are poisoned, the poison gets into their system through the blood vessels to wreak
