Good evening. It is just absurd the wonderful things that are going on right now, the songs, the dancing, the expressions, the reactions of the crowd. Pastor Chris, I want to thank you for the invitation to this exceptional event on this exception day. And thank you for the bountiful courtesies that my associates and I have received since we arrived.

By this invitation, I was able to visit my brother and mentor, former President Olusegun Obasanjo. To many of us, he is one of the great leaders who started the process of democracy that continues to rule till today.

The year 2020 is a special year. Not because it is twenty twenty, no, not because we are starting a new decade. The year is special because of the plan that God has for us. God lives in eternity. We live in time and time is a segment of eternity.

Genesis 6:9 KJV:These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

The term ‘Fasting’ generally refers to a period of abstinence from food for the purpose of engaging in uninterrupted study, prayer and meditation with a clear objective and goal in focus.

 Why is Fasting Necessary?

The scriptures are replete with numerous accounts of remarkable results and dramatic testimonies produced through Prayer And Fasting.

Prayer and fasting are inseparable spiritual activities. Fasting is consciously staying away from food and other activities that can sway your attention from God: this also include excessive use of gadgets.

As earlier stated, we shouldn’t fast without praying. You must include adequate and regular intervals of prayer, study and meditation on the word.

There are different kinds of prayer.

We’re gathered here tonight in honour of our Lord Jesus and the significance of that virgin birth which is known. Creatures, angels etc celebrate it. He wasn’t born for nothing, he was born for this purpose. Our dancing, singing, celebration etc are for this purpose

3 things for why this Christmas. It’s not just a holiday it’s more than that. THE PURPOSE OF JESUS’ COMING

1)HIS PURPOSE WAS CLEAR. HE CAME TO SEEK AND SAVE THAT WHICH WAS LOST.

LUKE 19:10. He Came on a mission. He lived his mission. Did you realize there’s nothing God

And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one (John 17:22).

In our opening verse, Jesus was talking to the Father in prayer about His disciples; He said, “The glory that you gave me, I have given to them.” This is amazing! I want you to know that the prayer is for us too, because in the same scripture, He said, “Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word” (John 17:20). So

It’s a double anniversary in my family today so I think it’s a good day to tell my story. 10 years ago today, I got married to the love of my life and best friend. Exactly 9 years and 1 month later, (11 months ago), I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, our first child. Apart from the fact that she came after almost a decade of marriage, she is special because she was conceived naturally after failed fertility treatments and in spite of

Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth (Proverbs 6:2).

There’s a spiritual language for the Christian. That’s why, as a child of God, you ought to put the Word on your lips, because the supernatural life is based on your tongue. Your tongue rules your life. In Matthew 12:36-37, Jesus said, “But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day of Judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…(Acts 1:8).

As Christians, we’re not ordinary people; we’re never to be victims in life. If you’ve found yourself in a predicament, a precarious or desperate situation, be comforted; you have what it takes to win, irrespective of the adversity. There’s something in you: the life and dynamic power of the Spirit to effect changes.

Did you know that your thoughts can also affect things around you? That’s because thoughts release signals, and those signals can be received by things around you and people connected to you.

You’ve probably had this experience where you were thinking about someone and that person suddenly showed up, or called you, or sent you a message.

DECEMBER 2019 GLOBAL COMMUNION SERVICE WITH REV. CHRIS OYAKHILOME

Serving God well begins with knowing why Jesus came and making Jesus’ passion become your passion. Jesus thought we were important to God and we are important to God. Jesus came to save us, to deliver us and to give us life. Most of all and the purpose for doing all this, was to bring us into fellowship with God. That was the reason for saving us, for delivering us, for giving us eternal life.

The greatest thing a human being can ever know is to be in fellowship with God, where you can relate with Him knowing that He loves you;
