During the 31st night service into the first, we started talking about the message for the year, the Year of Perfection. Often times, you hear people say, “you know, we are not perfect, no one is perfect”. We went into the scriptures and discovered that it’s not only possible but God’s plan and desire for us.
“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life”(2 Corinthians 3:5-6).
As a Christian, your life is preordained by God; predestination is at work in you. Nothing and no one can place a limit on you. This is God’s blessing for every one of His children, and He gave you the Holy Spirit, to be your sufficiency. With Him, you can be anything, do anything, go anywhere, and be all that God destined you to be.

The Lord said something to me some years ago, which to me is one of the biggest truths He’s ever taught me. He said, “I create destinies”; and as I contemplated on what he meant, very quickly, He explained it to me.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).
There’s no hopelessness for a child of God. It doesn’t matter what you’ve faced or are facing in your life; the challenges aren’t for your destruction. Not many know this; hence, they faint in the face of adversity.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15).
Jesus didn’t send us to preach the Gospel to human beings only; He said, “Preach the Gospel to every creature.” That’s quite instructive. It means you can proclaim the Word to anything and everything around you, because everything in life has intelligence. Everything God made can hear and recognise His voice. Jesus proved this true.
A living LEGEND was born on this day. In 1987, as a year 4 undergraduate student in the University, I learned about a crusade on the campus at which a visiting Evangelist would be ministering. Up till this time, I had received multiple invitations to Christian Fellowship meetings on the Campus but never took them seriously, and either ignored the invitation or attended with reluctance and always leaving the same way I came.
But I went for this particular Crusade, probably out of curiosity to hear the story of the Minister who was widely known before his conversion, as a member of a nationally notorious gang of armed robbers. But he became born again, and went from city to city telling his story.
